Elizabeth Roth, more commonly known as Lizzy, is a junior at Oak Hills High School. This is Roth’s first year in the Tartan, and she is extremely excited to be one of our new editors! Outside of writing, Roth is passionate about music, psychology, and watching her favorite comfort show, Gilmore Girls. She is an extremely caring, silly, and honest person, and lives her life through the motto, “You only live once. ” Roth is a cellist in the Honors Symphony Orchestra and loves to play the guitar in her free time. She is also an executive member of Tri-M, the Oak Hills National Music Honor Society, where she plans music-based service opportunities such as Oak Hills annual Trunk Or Treat. Along with this, Roth takes multiple AP and honors classes, is a member of the student council, and sustains a high GPA. One of Roth’s most defining qualities is her empathy, as she cares very deeply about everything she does. In ten years, Roth hopes to continue to use this asset to make a positive impact on those around her, ultimately changing the world for the better. Currently, however, Roth is just excited to write articles that the student body will surely enjoy!
