Hit Stars return to the cast of Euphoria for a brand new season this April

Everyone’s favorite messy high school series is back for a third season, four years after season two was released.  Season two of Euphoria was released in segments from Jan. 10 to Feb. 27, 2022. This TV series is packed with overwhelming substance abuse and constant sexual relations. With the third season debuting four years later, fans were wondering which stars would return to the cast. After the tragic passing of Angus Cloud, who played Fez, a fan-favorite substance distributor, the overwhelming question is how they will address his character’s removal from the show. Packed drama, messy relationships, and constant parties will return to HBO Max for season three on April 12, 2026.

With stars like Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Zendaya, and more returning to the cast, fans are wondering how this season will pick up where last season left off. The official trailer of season three of Euphoria has been released and has fans excited. In the new trailer,  we see flashes of other characters; Jacob Elordi’s Nate works in construction, and he’s engaged to Sydney Sweeney’s Cassie, who is spending her days in their opulent house dressed up and making NSFW videos. The trailer then shows an official sneak peek of Zendaya’s Rue and Maude Apatow’s Lexi Howard rekindling their friendship, even though Rue is still hung up on Hunter Schafer’s Jules. Although things with Rue and Jules were left off a bit awkwardly in the previous season, Rue has new alliances and potentially new enemies.

Newcomers this season include Sharon Stone, Rosalía, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, and Marshawn Lynch. This season will also see Oscar-winning Hans Zimmer join as composer. With new cast members being featured, fans are wondering what the original cast has been up to since the previous season of Euphoria aired. Sweeney, who is now leading the domestic thriller The Housemaid, has called the season “crazier” than what’s come before. Elordi is now on the Oscar trail for Frankenstein after winning the Critics’ Choice award for best supporting actor. Unfortunately, Eric Dane, who played Cal Jacobs, Nate Jacobs ‘ bisexual dad, passed away on Feb.19, 2026. He died at age 53 and not only starred in Euphoria but played key roles in several other hit films, one being Grey’s Anatomy. Cal’s character in the show was portrayed as very aggressive; however, Eric will forever be missed.

This cast holds a lot of talent and continues to thrive not only in the hit series Euphoria but also in other films and series. Although some key roles from the previous seasons will be missing, fans look forward to what this upcoming season will bring and if it will top the last two seasons. With stars advancing their skills, obtaining new opportunities, and gaining recognition for their recent work, this upcoming season of Euphoria is one any true fan won’t want to miss. For those who don’t already have an HBO Max account, now would be the perfect time to create one. Tune in on April 12, 2026, where the drama returns.
