On March 4, 2026, Dunkin’ Donuts launched its 2026 spring menu. The new selection introduces a $6 breakfast meal deal, Sweet Black Pepper Bacon, Dunkin’ Zero Sugar Energy drinks, a Berry Acai Refresher, Wedding Cake Munchkins, Blueberry Pie Matcha, and, of course, a wide variety of new banana-flavored drinks as the stars of the show.
The banana syrup and cold foam are both available to add to any drink, as well as new menu drinks designed especially for the spring 2026 lineup. These unique drinks come in multiple forms: refreshers, cloud lattes, traditional iced coffees, matchas, and a Shakin’ Espresso, Cloud Dunkalatte, and Frozen Chocolate.
To sample the banana-flavored drinks, I tried the large iced Banana Shakin’ Espresso: 4 swirls of banana syrup, 2 shots of espresso, and oatmilk, hand-shaken and poured over ice. The first impression was great; initially sweet, then the bitter coffee notes came in, leaving a strong banana aftertaste.
My next choice was the large Chocolate Covered Banana Iced Coffee: 4 swirls of mocha syrup, 4 parts cream, served over ice and topped with banana cold foam. The mocha was delicious, not too bitter but still chocolatey, and the cold foam added a sweet layer to it all. Unfortunately, the cold foam eventually overpowered the mocha flavors, which was disappointing.
Finally, I tried the large Bananarama Iced Matcha: matcha powder, 4 swirls of banana syrup, and whole milk mixed into ice. At first, the banana was hard to taste over the strong matcha flavors, but it quickly smoothed out to a subtly sweet, subtly bitter combination. The saccharine banana balances nicely with the earthy matcha for a refreshing, antioxidant-rich sip.
Overall, I enjoyed the selection of banana drinks available. My main concern was the strength of the cold foam, which dulled down the taste of the Chocolate Covered Banana Iced Coffee. The syrup was balanced nicely in both the Banana Shakin’ Espresso and the Bananarama Iced Matcha, though the aftertaste can be overwhelming in weaker blends.
If I were to make these drinks a part of my daily routine, I would avoid the cold foam in favor of the syrup swirls. If you like a strong banana flavor, try adding the banana cold foam to your drink of choice. If you prefer a milder (but not weak!) mixture, the banana syrup will be your friend.
The meal deal, though a smaller addition than the banana cold foam and syrup, is great. For a medium coffee, breakfast sandwich, and hashbrowns, you can save over $3 when bundled than buying them separately. Unfortunately, the meal deal only includes Original Blend coffee; menu drinks are not included.
In total, the Dunkin’ Donuts 2026 spring menu is a hit. Both hardcore coffee fans and casual coffee drinkers love the addition of banana to the line of Dunkin’ seasonal flavors. As of now, it is uncertain if it will be a 2026 exclusive or a returning flavor.
