Trekking through the hills is Lotus Olson, a junior at Oak Hills High School. Olson grew up in Louisville Kentucky. Her family is very dear to her, she believes the most influential person in her life is her mother Deanna Diekmann. Olson is part of NHS and the Student Council, she also runs Cross Country at Oak Hills and plays club Volleyball. Olson is a very busy girl, but during her free time she likes to socialize with her friends outside of school and listen to her favorite artist Gracie Abrams. Olson is an optimistic person, she believes that even if something seems unfixable, there's always a silver lining waiting to be found. Olson spreads kindness to her friends and everyone surrounding her because you’ll never know if someone is feeling down and needs a friend. Olson is planning to attend NYU once she graduates high school.
