Teagan Mullins, Writer
Teagan Mullins, a sophomore at Oak Hills High School and first year The Tartan writer is enthused to evolve her writing skills this school year through the Honors Tartan Print and Production course. Mullins spent her entire life in Ohio, attending The Childrens House for Kindergarten then going on to J.F Dulles Elementary and Rapid Run middle school. Mullins says the most influential person in her life is her aunt Jodie because she is a nurse and that is the career path she is interested in. Mullins has always adored working with children so she has decided to pursue a career in pediatric nursing, following in her aunt Jodie’s footsteps as a medical professional. Mullins is also a proud member of the Oak Hills swim team, beginning her 4th year swimming at Oak hills. In her free time Mullins also shows her love and compassion for animals by volunteering at local animal shelters and dedicating her time to serving the community. One of Mullins goals for her high school career is to graduate in the top 5% of her class, currently she is ranked in the top 7%.
