Mya Weikel is currently a senior at Oak Hills High School. She will be entering her first year with The Tartan and furthermore is a writer. Weikel adores her family and friends as she is very tenderhearted.  During school, Weikel enjoys writing as it is sort of considered a “Passion” to her.  Outside of school, Weikel works at a local butcher shop called Bridgetown Finer Meats. Weikel is also a part of the “Head to Toe” dance team, as she does both coaching and competing. After graduation, Weikel hopes to go into college whilst studying early education. She envisions herself traveling across Europe as it is one of her aspirations to experience different cultures. Apart from her “adventurous” persona, she enjoys all types of music yet varies depending on the mood. What is most notable about Weikel, is that she is an overall warm-hearted person within the Tartan community.
