Evelyn Dann, a junior at Oak Hills High school is first year Editor for The Tartan. Evelyn was born and raised in Ohio. Dann went to Cincinnati Public Schools from kindergarten through sixth grade, then to the Oak Hill school district. Dann says her favorite class is 3D AP, along with this, her favorite subject in school is art. She says that she enjoys art class because she is a creative individual that enjoys expressing herself through her art. After high school, Dann says she aspires to be an art teacher. She wants to go to Marietta College or Denison University to obtain her education teaching degree as an art teacher. Evelyn says that if she were to have a superpower it would be shapeshifting, she says it would be super cool to be able to shapeshift into whatever she wanted whenever she felt like it. Evelyn’s favorite quote is, “You are stronger than you allow yourself to be.” She says this quote is her favorite because she finds it to be very inspirational. Dann has been doing swim for seven years, she is still deciding whether or not she will continue to do swim again this year. Even though she hasn't yet decided if she is going to re-join the swim team, Dann has decided that she will be rejoining our OHHS track team again this year.
