Charly’s Shipman is in their junior year, and this is their first year as a writer for The Tartan. Shipman has one half-brother named Toby and one full brother named Hal. Shipman’s favorite subject in school is science because they like learning new things and how the world works. In Shipman’s free time, they like to draw, crochet, play guitar, and play video games with friends.
After high school, Shipman plans on going down the entrepreneur route by starting their own crocheting business because it is a hobby and a passion of theirs. They are currently working to start a platform for selling their art. To aid with the start of this, they are in classes such as Entrepreneurship, Business Law, and AP Statistics. We can’t wait to see how Shipman contributes The Tartan and grows as a writer.
