Addison Kress, Addi, is a Senior at Oak Hills High School and is starting her first year for The Tartan. Kress has 4 siblings: Olivia, Kendalyn, Christopher, and Jessie. Kress really enjoys English because she loves to read and listen to music in her free time. Kress’s favorite book of all time is One Was Lost by Natalie Richards. Kress is a proud member of the Spanish Club and Student Council. Kress’s liking towards English has also helped her discover her favorite teacher, Mrs. Tuchfarber, whom she describes as extremely nice and caring. Kress plans on attending Miami University, where she will study Forensic Science or Psychology. Kress’s favorite restaurant is PF Changs, and her favorite movie is Dirty Dancing. Kress has big dreams of traveling, and one of the places she plans on visiting is South Korea. Kress believes in the term “practice makes perfect” and is excited to connect that practice this year as a new writer for The Tartan Newspaper.
